The same four places decide whether a load made money.

This score points at the four areas your shop runs on: margin, cash, carrier risk and time. It names the three that cost you most and what to change this week. UltraShip is built for non-asset freight brokers, and it is the version where the load, the carrier record and the invoice live in one place, so the fixes stop being extra work.

Questions brokers ask about the health score

What is a brokerage health score?

A brokerage health score rates how well a freight brokerage runs against a checklist of good practice. This one covers four areas: margin visibility, cash and payables, carrier risk, and time and tools. It gives a score out of 100 and names the three fixes that matter most.

How is the score calculated?

You answer twelve questions, three in each of the four areas, and each answer is worth 0 to 3 points. The points add up to a score out of 100, with a breakdown for each area. The result is scored against good practice, not against other brokers.

Does the score compare me with other brokers?

No. There are no peer benchmarks, percentiles or industry averages in this tool. It scores your own shop against a checklist of good practice for a small brokerage. A low score points to the area to work on first, nothing more.

How long does the assessment take?

About two minutes. There are twelve questions, one at a time, and each can be answered without looking anything up. You can answer by tapping a row or pressing the number keys one to four, and you can go back to change an answer.

Is my information stored?

Your answers and score stay in your own browser. The tool has no account and sends nothing to a server. If you return on the same device the result can be shown again, and the Retake button clears it so you can start over.

What should a broker do after getting a low score?

Start with the weakest area. The result gives three fixes you can do without new software and a 30 day plan built from your two weakest areas. Pick one fix, do it this week, and retake the assessment in a month to see what moved.
