Are these tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on this page is free to use, needs no signup and shows the full result on screen. Each one is built by UltraShip, the TMS for non-asset freight brokers, so each ends with an offer to see the same work done inside the TMS.
Do the tools store what I enter?
The calculators and the health score keep your numbers in your own browser and send nothing to a server. The carrier tools send the MC or USDOT numbers you enter to the public FMCSA open data service to look up the records, and UltraShip stores nothing.
Who are the tools built for?
They are built for non-asset freight brokers and 3PLs, especially small and mid-size brokerages where an owner or operations manager does the carrier checks, the billing and the cash planning themselves.
How accurate are the results?
The calculators are models that use the numbers you type, so they are only as good as those inputs. The carrier tools show what the public FMCSA record says at the time of the check and cannot detect stolen identities or double-brokering. Treat each result as a first look.
